Dr. Gaeun Lee has 18 years of experience as a dentist and an oral surgeon, she can provide advanced level of treatment in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics and pain & anxiety management. She's trying her best to accommodate each patient's needs with compassion.

 Dr. Lee started her journey to dentistry in 1999 entering prestigious Seoul National University at age of 19. She received Doctor of dental surgery in 2005. She was a selective exchange student in Melbourne dental school of University of Melbourne in 2004, since then she developed her interest in studying abroad and learn cultures around the world. She entered oral surgery intern and residency right after and Master of science in Dentistry in 2009 and became Korean board certified dental anesthesiologist. After working as oral surgeon in general hospitals, she turned her interest more into general dentistry after she open her Seoul Eun Dental Clinic in 2009. Though her practice had been successful, she couldn't give up her pursuit of further education in US and eventually she entered Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in Los Angeles in 2018. She kept her practice until 2021 going back and forth between Korea and US, but finally she rented the practice in Korea to a reliable colleague and decided to move to US. She was accepted in the US in the category of “National Interest Waiver with exceptional ability in her field” supported by her expertise in implantology and CAD/CAM dentistry with over 9,000patients.

 After graduation from USC, Dr. Lee had built experience working in Texas and Massachusetts, but she always have been missing her second hometown in LA, Southern California. She loves the vibrant energy of the city and the warmth she can feel in the Korean community in LA. When she had a chance to succeed Dr. Kim's practice she didn't hesitate to move back to LA.

 Now she’s return and she is ready to serve community with strong work ethics and respect to each patient. 

As did the Dr. Edward Kim, the predecessor of the current location, she respects the philosophy of Dr. Kim’s minimally invasive dentistry and appreciates importance of perio-maintenance care. Although she provides most up-to-date treatment with CAD/CAM technology and advanced level of dental treatment, she is a strong advocate of preventive dentistry and loves to plan and discuss how to maintain gum health and prevent caries, wearing, fracturing of the teeth.

 She always discuss treatment with her patients with compassion, as a genuinely caring dentist to her patients.

 Since she started dental school in Seoul National University following her grandfather who was one of the pioneers in oral surgery in Korea from young age, dentistry has been a solid pillar of her life most of the time. And after years of experience with patients, and wisdom from her grandfather, she realized that the dentistry and medicine is still in progress to understand our body, and a dentist always have to be open to learn new technology and concept and listen to patients. Her mastery dexterity and efficient manner of treatment developed through experience and knowledge has been appreciated many patients. Dr. Lee seeks the best results in long term, treatment is done often in collaboration with specialists and physicians who can provide you best care.
