Dr. Gaeun Lee: A Dedicated and Experienced Dental Professional

 Dr. Gaeun Lee brings over 20 years of experience as a dentist and oral surgeon, offering advanced expertise in oral surgery, periodontics, endodontics, and pain and anxiety management. Committed to patient-centered care, she approaches each case with compassion and precision, ensuring that every individual receives the highest standard of treatment.

 Dr. Lee's journey in dentistry began in 1999 when she was admitted to the prestigious Seoul National University at the age of 19. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2005 after completing a rigorous six-year program. During her studies, she was selected as an exchange student at the University of Melbourne’s Dental School in 2004, an experience that ignited her passion for international education and cultural exchange. Following her graduation, she immediately pursued an oral surgery internship and residency, obtaining a Master of Science in Dentistry in 2009. That same year, she became a Korean Board-Certified Dental Anesthesiologist.

 After gaining extensive experience as an oral surgeon in general hospitals, Dr. Lee shifted her focus toward general dentistry and established Seoul Eun Dental Clinic in 2009. While her practice flourished, her ambition for further education led her to the United States. In 2018, she enrolled at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC). For several years, she managed her clinic in Korea while commuting between the two countries, but in 2021, she entrusted her practice to a reliable colleague and made the decision to settle in the U.S. Her expertise in implantology and CAD/CAM dentistry, with a patient base exceeding 9,000, earned her a National Interest Waiver for exceptional ability in her field.

 Following her graduation from USC, Dr. Lee practiced in Texas and Massachusetts but always felt drawn back to Los Angeles, which she considers her second home. She cherishes the city's dynamic atmosphere and the warmth of the Korean-American community. When the opportunity arose to continue Dr. Edward Kim’s established practice, she embraced it without hesitation.

 Now, as she embarks on this new chapter, Dr. Lee remains committed to serving the community with unwavering dedication, strong work ethics, and deep respect for her patients. Like her predecessor, she upholds the philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry and emphasizes the importance of periodontal maintenance. While she integrates the latest advancements in CAD/CAM technology and comprehensive dental treatments, she is a firm advocate of preventive dentistry. She takes great care in guiding her patients on maintaining gum health and preventing dental issues such as cavities, wear, and fractures.

 Dr. Lee believes that patient care extends beyond technical expertise; she engages with her patients with genuine empathy, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to their needs. Dentistry has been a cornerstone of her life, inspired by her grandfather, a pioneer in oral surgery in Korea. Through years of experience and continuous learning, she recognizes that both dentistry and medicine are ever-evolving fields. She remains committed to embracing new technologies, expanding her knowledge, and collaborating with specialists and physicians to achieve the best long-term outcomes for her patients.

Together with her dedicated team—Mr. Yoo and Melody—Dr. Lee upholds a philosophy of lifelong learning and patient-centered care.
